In partnership with Nepalese counter trafficking organisation Shakti Samuha Asha Nepal run a refuge in Kathmandu for women and children who are rescued from trafficking and women who have been physical and sexual abused.

With Shakti Milan Shamaj, Asha Nepal's HIV/Aids partner run a short term hostel for girls seeking self sufficiency through work. The hostel is supported by a house mother, counsellor and a job Coordinator. The project is mainly funded by The Elton John Aids Foundation.

In Pokhara our partner organisation SOS Bahini run a short term hostel for girls at risk of being trafficked, facing abusive situations within their community and girls rescued from abuse in domestic labour.

In India Asha Nepal's partner in Delhi STOP also run a refuge for girls at risk of being trafficked, facing abusive situations within their community and girls rescued from abuse in domestic labour.

also in India our Mumbai partner organisation The Rescue Foundation run a highly succesful rescue operation and refuge for girls rescued from sexual slavery in the brothels of Mumba and Puna.
