2011 NEWS: £6,000 p.a. needed to maintain this vital part of the rehabilitation processOur full-time Job Coordinator, Laxmi Puri, provides job-seeker support for clients at Shakti Kendra and for girls and women returned from trafficking through our partner organisation Shakti Samuha. She liaises with new and existing employers and seeks out potential providers of job opportunities; coordinates relevant training provision; coaches clients through interviews and gives post-employment support.
From 2011, Laxmi is keen to run dedicated workshops for girls and potential employers. We need approximately £6,000 p.a. to fund her role and the important services she delivers. Please donate now. Thank you.
