Asha Nepal welcomes volunteers, but we have to be restrictive to those who can offer specific skills relevant to the programmes, or students who can visit us during Nepali school holidays in April or September/October.
If you are a doctor, nurse, therapist, counsellor, psychologist or if you are experienced in teaching English to foreign language students, you could benefit both the client groups and staff teams of Asha Nepal and its partners. If you could provide specific training skills relevant to the client group and staff teams, we would also be very pleased to hear from you. Past volunteers include doctors, dentists, nurses, accountants, art therapists, counsellors, dance and movement therapists and social workers.
Subject to your skills base there may be a minimum period of time we would ask of you. However, sometimes even just a day’s provision of service can benefit the clients, so if you are holidaying in Nepal and think you can further the quality of life of the women and children in our care, please contact us.
Could you be a Trustee of Asha Nepal?
We are currently looking for new Trustees with specific areas of expertise: an educationalist, and an expert on human rights and international law. Please contact us if you think this could be you!
