1. Shakti Samuha
Asha-Nepal run a sponsorship scheme for rescued girls, children at risk and victims of sexual violence to become self sufficient. The Trust will fund a placement at the Jyoti Scheme in Phokara where they will learn a trade. On completion the Trust will make a seed loan to allow them to buy equipment, rent premises etc to set up an independent life style or we will liase with Shakti Samuha and other organisations to obtain them a relevant job placement.

2. SOS Bahini
Asha Nepal in conjunction with SOS Bahini and Metalux (A Luxemborg charity) run a project to set up "foster" homes for girls at risk, rather than place the girls in large institutions SOS Bahini set up home in typical residential areas for up to six girls, sending them to local schools and fully integrating them as part of the local community. giving them a as near natural childhood as is possible. This has proven immensely successful and SOS Bahini and Asha nepal are keen to expand the number of children we can help in this way.
