Asha Nepal is a human rights organisation working for women and children in Nepal.
We are a small charity run on a totally voluntary basis in the UK by a small team of trustees with a deep personal commitment to transforming the lives of exploited, abused and endangered women and children in Nepal. We have an office in Kathmandu with a small team of paid local staff who coordinate our projects in Nepal.

Comfort  A victim of trafficking receives comfort from another victim |
In need of help!  All these girls were in danger of being trafficked, two of them thankfully rescued on the border between Nepal and India. They are safe but in need of your support to ensure they recieve a good education and hope for the future. |
Employed in domestic labour  These three girls are taking a much needed few hours education provided by CWISH. Only allowed a few hours away from work each week the look of anticipation on these girls faces as they arrive at the small training centre (one of over seventy dotted around Kathmandu) and the attention they pay during the class highlights a need and desire for education. Such girls are at risk of abuse, violence, rape and at worst of being trafficked into the brothels of India. |
